September 16th 2007 was a great day! It was our 6th Annual Westie Walk for Westie Rescue of Canada and the weather was wonderful. It was a lovely 70 degrees and lots of sun for our walk.

The day started with registration and all of our measurements for our Book of Records, then we took a little 20 minute walk around Erindale Park, led by our lady bagpiper, and followed up the day with some games and lots of great prizes and a yummy BBQ!!!

We had 102 Westies join us for our event and we raised the most money ever for the Toronto Walk! A big thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so great.

A few folks were asking us if we are going to have the walk next year…well of course we are!!!! We hope to see you there in 2008…we will let you all know the details as soon as they are confirmed.
